A huge well done to Rachel Harrison, a paediatric speech and language therapist from Dorset who not only climbed the Three Peaks, but cycled more than 400 miles between them too! A jaw-dropping feat to raise funds and awareness for Developmental Language Disorder!

With September just around the corner, we're reflecting on some of the highlights from the last academic year! We:
👩‍👩‍👧‍👦 Welcomed Little Link to the Speech & Language Link family, bringing Ben and Teddy to Early Years settings across the UK 👦🧸
🏆️ Celebrated success as ERA finalists and BESA award winners, recognising the expertise and impact behind our work.
🎤 Brought professionals together at The Link Live Speech & Language Day, with inspiring speakers, practical sessions and engaging discussions focused on SLCN.
👥 Watched The Link Community members grow to over 7000, sharing free specialist advice, guidance and resources with education staff.
💬 Spoke on podcasts, presented webinars and to help schools and settings build confidence in supporting speech, language and communication needs.
🎉 Helped even more settings identify speech, language and communication needs early, so children can access support when it matters most.
👨‍🏫 Worked alongside incredible school leaders, SENCOs, teachers, teaching assistants, therapists and Early Years practitioners who make a difference to the lives of pupils with SLCN, every day.
Thank you 💙 to everyone who has been part of our journey this year! We're so proud of what we've achieved together. Looking forward to what next year will bring!

Today is the International Day of Friendship. Friendships can be particularly hard to navigate for children with SLCN - they may struggle to communicate their feelings to others or to understand other's feelings towards them. What a fantastic day at the BESA Awards last week – we're still celebrating!
We are so delighted that Infant Language Link won Outstanding SEND Resource or Service. It's wonderful recognition of the hard work, expertise and commitment of our speech and language therapy team.
And importantly, this award celebrates the impact our package has had through you. Thousands of TAs, LSAs, teachers and SENCOs use Infant Language Link to identify and support pupils with language and communication needs, making a positive difference to their lives.
Thank you to British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA) for a great event, and congratulations to all the finalists and winners.
