Caerphilly Live

Caerphilly Live Caerphilly Live is a FREE local information resource and community gateway.

We provide you with the ability to advertise locally for free, discuss any burning issues in our forums with like minded individuals and find out whats happening locally! Caerphilly Live has been a project in the pipeline for a number of years, but due to the scale of the task it has taken us a while to get things up and running. Our initial plan was to create a local resource where we would charg

e for membership to list businesses and events, though as we have progressed with it, we have chosen to go along with the idea of FREE. We want to build a local resource, or as we prefer to call it a 'Local Information Gateway'

We want to build it up to be very community orientated and updated by business owners and event organisers. We are looking at the idea of a companion app for both IOS and Android device that will carry offers from local businesses and updates about big events happening within or close to the Caerphilly Borough that would be of interest. So please spread the work of us around and let your friends and family that run businesses or events to add them to Caerphillylive.co.uk and help build a great resource.

The website as it stands (CaerphillyLive.co.uk) is currently going through a pretty big makeover, actually that's bit of a fib, it's actually being completely rebuilt from the ground up.

With the ever increasing number of traffic generated by mobiles and tablet i'm working to improve the website for these devices with the best experice aimed at mobiles.

Caerphilly Live is a local resource aimed at providing people within the Caerphilly Borough and beyond the opportunity to find things to do all year round. We have activities and events list from throughout the borough so we're sure you'll be able to find something near you!

So I've been a little on the silent side over the last few months, really just trying to think how to do things as we move forward.

I felt i was really starting to get in to my flow until everything stopped back in March. Since then i have not touched the website and done very little here.

That though is going to change very soon.

This really does need some common sense to be used by Torfaen Council!
