Setting up a hardware based OpenVPN system for a customer, as they will be implementing home working from next week. This system is tied into their Active Directory on their own server, so only users in a certain group can access the network. Once connected, it's as if they're sat locally on the corporate network.

Unlike other VPN "solutions" we have come across in the past, this one is intelligent enough to recognise what is local/corporate traffic, and what is internet traffic, and will direct accordingly. So even if you leave it connected, it won't effect normal internet usage.

This is the fourth time this park has had to have WiFi installed, having had installs by companies going bust, and poor installs.

Happy to say, the customer is over the moon with the reliability of their new system.

Something a little different, utilising an outdoor pole mounted PoE network switch, this switch is powering two cameras watching a barrier system, also, using a PoE > USB adapter to power a CAME unit, which will allow the installer to use the CAME cloud system to monitor the barriers for faults etc - Plenty of room inside the switch to hide it all!

New job confirmed by a new customer this afternoon - we'll be installing a system to monitor their large Fridge & Freezer, not only that, we'll be tying it into their CCTV system to make a PTZ camera move to view the temperature gauges under alarm or on demand - by calling a number!

This is in a recently renovated Kitchen, not only does this system provide WiFi to the homeowner, the system also acts as a backup internet connection for their busy retail business next door. The system automatically switches over to this internet connection in the event of their main connection going down.
