We’re expanding our Stroud team and are looking for an enthusiastic Inside Sales Specialist to join us in a primarily office-based role, within a local company operating on a global stage.

The Role
You’ll work closely with our strategic partners, Salesforce and Informatica, supporting their sales organisations by proactively identifying and generating new business opportunities.
You’ll often be set objectives by partner Account Directors within specific industry verticals. This may involve researching a defined set of target customers, identifying key stakeholders and influencers, and understanding their business challenges so that we can jointly position the right solution.
At other times, you’ll be expected to identify and develop new opportunities independently within those verticals, using your own initiative.
Alongside a competitive basic salary, you’ll earn commission on opportunities you originate, as well as on opportunities introduced to you by partner Account Directors. This is a collaborative, mutually beneficial relationship that rewards shared success.

What the Role Looks Like Day-to-Day
• Office-based in Stroud (this is not a remote role)
• Working closely with Informatica Account Executives
• The phone is your primary tool, supported by email and LinkedIn
• Discussing real business issues with Salesforce-using organisations
• Contributing to shaping deals typically worth £80k–£100k+
Sales cycles typically run 3–6 months — this is about thoughtful, consultative selling, not just dialling numbers.

Office & Operations Manager (with PA Responsibilities)

Location: Aston Down, near Stroud

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Contract: Full-time

Cloud Perspective, located near Stroud in Gloucestershire, is seeking an Office & Operations Manager who will also take on the role of Personal Assistant (PA). This is a unique opportunity for someone with strong PA and office administration experience to become an integral part of a rapidly expanding consultancy. The successful candidate will work closely with the Directors, providing essential support as the company continues its ambitious growth plans.

About the Role

This is not a traditional administrative position. We are looking for a proactive, organised, and confident individual who is eager to take ownership of office, administrative, and internal operations functions. As our business aims to triple in size over the coming year, the right candidate will identify and resolve issues, streamline processes, and help shape how the company operates. Strong communication skills are essential, as the role requires the ability to explain plans clearly and deliver on them.

Employee development is fundamental to our ethos, and we actively encourage and support ongoing training and development within this role.



Key Responsibilities



Personal Assistant Duties

Managing personal documents for the Directors

Handling diary and calendar management

Arranging travel, meetings, and events

Supporting Directors with daily organisation and prioritisation



Office & Administrative Responsibilities

Helping with accounts reconciliation & supporting external accountants with VAT and tax-related information

Managing company administration tasks

Assisting with recruitment, inductions and other HR administration

Overseeing document and records management

Handling timesheet administration

Supporting the wider team with travel and logistics.



Office Management Across Multiple Sites

The Office Manager’s responsibilities will span both sites in Gloucestershire (we have an office in Aston Down and another facility in Nailsworth), with occasional visits to the Manchester office as needed.

Taking ownership of administrative and internal processes and their ongoing operation

Supporting the sales team by helping to define, document, and improve their processes

Collaborating closely with Directors to streamline internal operations

Preparing the business for rapid growth, including planning for future recruitment to enhance this function

Contributing to the management of our partnerships with Informatica and Salesforce.



Additional Information

Bank reconciliation is currently managed by a part-time team member who is on maternity leave and expected to return in April. The Office & Operations Manager will work alongside this function.

This role offers significant autonomy and the chance to shape its scope; initiative and ownership are expected as the business grows.

The scope and responsibilities of the position will expand as the company grows rapidly.

Cloud Perspective is a boutique consultancy with offices in Aston Down (near Stroud) and Manchester. We specialise in resolving complex customer and business data challenges for large enterprise clients. Our typical clients:

Operate multiple legacy systems

Are transitioning from on-premise infrastructure to cloud platforms

Require a single, trusted view of customers, organisations, and transactions

Are engaged in data integration or migrations following acquisitions or significant transformation programmes

The team currently consists of 25 people, with plans to at least double, and potentially triple, over the next 12 months. This role offers the chance to be at the heart of that expansion.



Working Pattern

Full-time position, primarily based at the Aston Down office

Initially office-based, with some home-working possible after a settling-in period.

What is an Inside Sales Representative?

Cloud Perspective seeks candidates for the role of Inside Sales Specialist (ISS). The successful candidate’s primary duties matching customer requirements against the data consulting services offered by Cloud Perspective, identifying new sales opportunities through calls and emails and helping the Cloud Perspective management team and vendor partners to close sales deals.

What are the duties and responsibilities?

ISSs communicate with customers to understand their needs and generate new leads. Other duties and responsibilities of the ISM include:

• Developing new sales opportunities using outbound cold emails, cold calls and lead follow-ups
• Communicating with customers to understand their needs and requirements and identify sales opportunities
• Answering customers’ questions, resolving their concerns and providing additional information via calls and emails
• Explaining and demonstrating the functions and features of Cloud Perspective products and services
• Maintaining and improving the database of prospects
• Researching for new leads
• Keeping up to date with product and service information and competitor offers
• Upselling products and services

Who is this role for?

This role will suit an individual early in their sales career who may be looking to develop a technical sales career. Initially there is no expectation of an ‘on the road’ function, although this may develop over time.

The successful candidate will be working with senior management within the business who will look to support the ISS with the development of interpersonal skills and skills specific to complex and system selling.
