The ground floor pre-wiring is about to start on this new project in Essex

The new open plan kitchen / living area will feature a large format Sony TV, 2 zones of audio, RAKO lighting control, and 8 Silent Gliss blinds using the Silent Gliss Smart Control system ensuring that the blinds all keep in sync.
The audio is then to extend into the patio area.

A little bit of early morning prep work for our next hardwired RAKO lighting control project. The panel is being installed in a loft so the more we can do off site the easier it is for the electricians.

We usually daisy chain the keypad cables but on this project we are using RAK-Stars which will give us the flexibility of using Rithum Switches or iPads on iPort wall docks as an easily achievable upgrade path for the clients.

The start of another project today in Mid Suffolk today.

Stripping out a clients existing projector based system ready for the room to be refitted as a general media space with large format TV.

The speakers will be replaced and new fabric walls installed along with lighting to create a warmer feel to the room.

If anyone is looking for some Artcoustic front speakers, or a motorised 100” wide screen please let me know.

18 No Sonance IS8’s in total with some discrete subwoofers to add some weight to the sound.
No sooner do we get them in the decorators and cabinet makers are behind us chasing our tails to get the project over the line.

Progress is really now being made on one of our large residential projects in Essex. Most of the plastered in speakers are now in and with it being a cooler day we took the opportunity to install external access points and speakers to the canopies. An additional data cabinet has also been mounted ready for the cable tray and cabling for the external services consisting of CCTV, Garden speakers and WiFi to all the external areas.

A walk round to check progress on one of our projects in Essex.

Tacking and plastering is now pushing on. The project is almost ready for the installation of the Sonance plastered in speakers internally and Sonance Extreme speakers to the external canopy’s.

Next week we will be testing and certifying the data network and commencing the second fix of the data rack and WiFi access points using Ubiquiti UniFi throughout.

Installation of a new CAME Axo gate system to an existing gate. The old motor assembly was failing and the existing control gear was inaccessible.

A new GRP enclosure ensures servicing and maintenance is easy to do. Installing battery operated safety cells saved digging the drive. There were no sensors previously fitted risking the client damaging either themselves or a vehicle.

Using the CAME App as well as key fobs allows the clients to not only operate the gate but also monitor its open / close status remotely.

Clean up operation of a new client’s existing system.

Luxul switches replaced with UniFi so everything is under one eco system.

Random data cables terminated into keystones and documented.

PDU’’s were in the back of the rack so these have been brought forward and labelled.

Finally the installation of Starlink has taken the client from 20mb on copper to 300mb.
