we seem to be growing in members every week and hope we can carry on the club for many years

we are a group of radio amateurs and short wave listeners, that meet weekly for chat and activities related to radio, we are registered RSGB exam centre, we hold training courses for all licences

www.eastlancsradioclub.co.uk East Lancs Radio Club was established in 2012 by a small group of radio 'hams', since then we have accomplished many achievements such as our first training course for the intermediate licence which amounted to a 100% pass, and approval from the RSGB to hold our own exams.

Unfortunately, the Village Hall is not available this week, so there will be no club meeting this Thursday, 16th April 2026. This is due to the building works being behind.

Everyone is welcome to come along to the North Western Repeater Group Meeting instead at Accrington.

The Globe Bowling Club, Willows Lane, Accrington, from 8pm, but people usually start arriving from about 7.30pm.

If you know members who don't use Facebook, please try to let them know the meeting is cancelled this week.

It is with a sad heart that we have to announce the news that James Wilson 2E0WLN has passed away, an active member of the club, and will be missed by all.
We'll endeavour to get the details of the funeral from Donna, as I'm sure a lot will want to pay their respects to this great bloke, taken far too soon!
