New: HK Audio ELEMENTS MK2 – The modular column array

HK Audio engineered a modular column array that works the way rental companies need it to.

HK Audio SnapLock creates a secure, play-free connection with one hand. No tools. No visible cables. Signal transmission through robust contact surfaces that resist wear, dirt and mechanical stress.

The newly developed phase plug waveguide delivers 90° horizontal dispersion with uniform coverage. No volume fluctuations. No dead zones. Stack up to three mid high units to increase throw.

The system detects how many mid/high-units are connected and automatically loads the correct filters. No manual adjustment. Your crew sets it up right every time.

Milan-AVB runs audio and control through a single cable. Shared DSP platform with LINEAR 5 MK2 and LINEAR 9. DSP Out controls non-networkable active loudspeakers for delay lines.

Two subwoofer options. The 110 Sub A for corporate and speech. The 115 Sub A with extended low frequency range for music applications.

ELEMENTS MK2. Available now.

I sometimes hear Bluetooth dismissed too quickly. The real question is where it belongs in the room workflow.
If a user needs to bring in audio from a phone, tablet or guest device, the AV system should make that simple without creating a separate unmanaged audio path. In a Dante environment, that conversation becomes much more interesting.
AU-BT2-DA is a practical product to show in that context: not as a gimmick, but as a way to bring Bluetooth audio into a Dante-based system when the use case is clear.

In BYOD and shared rooms, users often swap host laptops. If the USB devices at the far end need time to wake up again, the room feels unreliable — even if the installation is technically correct.
USB-EXT11-KIT is useful because the power behavior can match the room use. Set it to “On” when USB ports should stay powered between host changes. Set it to “Auto” when the ports should power up as soon as the USB host is connected.
It also extends USB 5G up to 100 m over HDBT with PoC, which makes it a practical fix when USB devices need to live away from the host connection point.
