PS5 SSD installation from £10. Though I don't usually support consoles, I will however install Nvme ssds for PS5's as long as you purchase a compatible SSD for it. If you are unsure which ones to get that contact me before purchasing so I can advise, but Sony are planing on releasing a list of compatible drives. If Sony require its own specific SSD mounting kit for it you may need to purchase it as well, but we will have to wait for more details from Sony.

Installation prices will start from £10*

*If outside the buckie area then travel costs maybe added.

After looking at the differences between ampere and Turing one of the differences is how ampere handles integer maths. So with Turing nvidia made part of the gpu handle integer code so it could run integer and floating point at the same time. The trouble with this was that any game that isn't using integer code would mean that 20-30% of the gpu is left idle. With ampere they have changed this so the integer core's can now process floating point maths as well, meaning they are not left idle if there is no integer maths to be processed, giving a 20-30% boost in floating point performance. This would explain why the 3070 is listed as being faster than a 2080ti and why nvidia has been very specific to what games it has released benchmarks for. My guess would be that for games that use integer maths (cod, battlefront 2, shadow of war) the 2080ti and 3070 will be more or less on par with each other. Games that only use floating point maths then the 3070 will be 20-30% faster.

Call of Duty modern warfare launch is seeming to be having some issues. People are reporting a Dev 6071 error, cracking sounds and black flickers/artifacts. If your experiencing any of these i would suggest waiting to see if the Devs drop any hot fixes as this seems to be affecting a lot of people.

Should NVidia release a rtx2080ti lite? The new rumours doing the rounds because of the leaked RTX T10-8 TU-102 people are assuming this will be a rtx2080ti super to slot in between the rtx2080 and Titan RTX. But would that really be worth it. The Titan RTX with it’s full fat, faster clocked TU-102 chip and faster RAM on bench mark is only 10fps faster than the rtx2080ti across the standard resolutions in a hand full of games. Though on average it is only 5-6fps faster than the rtx2080ti. So if a rtx2080ti super sits between the rtx2080ti and Titan RTX, what are you going to see, a 2-3fps improvement on average over the rtx2080ti. What is the point of that. As the Titans TU-102 has all the cores unlocked then all you could do is increase the clock speeds. So the best a rtx2080ti super could be is an overclocked Titan with less ram at what at the current rtx2080ti price point. Maybe a few more RT cores that might get used once in a while on the odd ray tracing game. If this is the case than the price of the rtx2080ti must drop, people would be better getting that card and putting on their own overclock and get very similar performance.

What would make more sense would be a rtx2080ti lite, a slightly stripped back rtx2080ti but with 8GB ram. Price wise this could drop right in the middle of the rtx2080 super and rtx2080ti. For more people this would be a worthwhile price point and I feel this card could have an audience. Also it the could use Tu102 chips that didn't quite make the grade for a standard 2080ti by slightly lowering the number of Cores.
