Congratulations to Andy Taylor, our Employee of the Month!

Andy consistently delivers work to the highest standard, and the feedback we receive from our clients, employees, and partners reflects that.

His nomination recognises his work on a recent migration. A sysplex split is a complex piece of work that requires real skill and careful planning. Andy delivered it within the agreed change window, with no impact, demonstrating the technical expertise and professionalism he brings to every project.

Everyone had a great time at our staff Technical Conference at the weekend, with company presentations and then a teambuildling quiz! Teams were made up from across the business, so it was a great chance for everyone to work together, have a laugh and get very competitive.

Congratulations to the winning team 'King Julian' - Julian Bridges, Helen Turner, Rob Herring, Leanne Wilson, Mark Wilson, Dougie Lawson, Steve Tresadern, and Danielle Baugh.

Simran received multiple nominations for the incredible support she gives to our New to Z team. From creating RACF learning resources and delivering a fantastic workshop, to always making time to answer questions, offer advice, and help others through their training, she consistently goes above and beyond.

Three new recruits have joined Vertali’s NTZ initiative – a five-year training and education program developing the next generation of mainframe professionals.

NTZ identifies talent and provides up to nine months of detailed preparation, followed by mentoring, on-the-job experience and mandatory training.

“NTZ is part of our efforts to close the skills gap and deliver for our clients while helping our own people to develop their careers,” says Mark Lupton, Talent Acquisition Manager at Vertali. “That means ensuring a supportive culture and workplace founded on skills development, knowledge transfer, and hands-on experience.”
