Today I built and shipped an idea that’s been rattling around my head for a few years. It’s a bit wild (not to mention terrfiying!) how quickly you can move with AI now. This came together in a few hours, mostly while cooking lunch 🍳

What a fantastic year 2022 has been for me as a freelance web developer!

I am thrilled with all the amazing projects I've had the opportunity to work on. These include launching a dozen new websites, creating custom WordPress themes that use the latest improvements in the block editor for a seamless content editing experience, and developing bespoke plugins using the WordPress Gutenberg React framework. The advancements in WordPress have been really exciting.

I've also had the pleasure of designing and building custom web applications for two start-ups using the latest version of Laravel and the powerful Nova framework as backends for dynamic and engaging React.js front-end applications. It has been a lot of fun experimenting with new features like Inertia.js and Mix, which have allowed me to create rapid prototypes and push the boundaries of these technologies.

In addition to all this, I also helped my longest-standing client relaunch their WooCommerce platform, resulting in them breaking their best monthly sales record this year when the site was launched.

It has been such a rewarding and engaging experience seeing the final products come to life and making a positive impact for my clients. I can't wait to see what the next year brings!
