I get so many messages asking what I charge and, more importantly, how I know what to charge.

The truth is, I didn’t always know. I started out charging £5 for logos, then slowly increased my prices as my skills improved, demand grew and I became more confident in the value of my work!

There wasn’t one magic moment where I suddenly knew my “worth”, it was a lot of learning, getting busier, hitting capacity, raising my prices and realising people were still booking me🥺

So if you’re wondering what you should charge: start somewhere, keep improving, pay attention to demand, and don’t be scared to adjust your prices as you grow.

We can’t design £5 logos forever😩

If there’s one thing I wish more people knew, it’s this…

Stop overcomplicating your business admin.

You do not need to spend hundreds on fancy systems before you’ve even made your first sale. Keep it simple, keep your costs low, and invest when it actually makes sense.

I’ve been using Tide to manage my business banking, and it’s made keeping everything in one place so much easier. Less admin, more time actually running my business. 💅

I realised it’s been a while since I did a little about me, so here we go…

Hey! I’m Court 👋🏼 I’m 27 and live in Bristol, but I’m originally from Swansea, so you’ll definitely hear the Welsh accent pop up in my content from time to time😭

I built this business from absolutely nothing. No design background, no backup plan, just a lot of determination and late nights learning as I went🫠 Six years later, I still get excited to sit down at my desk every single day, and I honestly don’t take that for granted.

When I’m not designing bold brands, you’ll usually find me obsessing over all things ’70s, colourful interiors, funky graphics, and basically anything with a bit of personality and COLOUR. 💅🏼🌈
