I don't normally post things I create for my day job on here, but I've been pushing myself to create things out of my comfort zone. Illustrating people is one of my weakest skills, but I spent a lot of time creating this graphic, learnt a lot and had a lot of fun.

I created the character concepts from scratch and made sure to have inclusivity in mind. These women are in conservation jobs, which is incredibly varied! ❤️ loved doing this, maybe I'll start expanding my work over time to include more people!

I've been busy! Printing from home has given me great flexibility with products. I wanted to make a cute, but low cost product for my range, so say hello to bookmarks! Featuring bold colours and some classic Kai Jed designs, these fun bookmarks will really brighten up the page 📖

I've been working on some new wildlife - themed designs (I know, I'm actually doing something I said I would! 😅)

Don't know about you, but I love a big, fat seal! 🦭 I'm not sure what I might do with this design, I might make some cute stickers or keyrings, plus smaller prints? What do we think?

NOW WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT! 😱 A new product launching from Kai Jed Creative! Puffins were one of the highest birds in my bird bucket list, this year we got to see and photograph them in Scotland (swipe to see the inspo for this one, taken at Dunnet Head, Scotland)

Launching soon, but no date just yet, but they will be available at my next markets around Christmas time. They'll be going in my next order 😁

I'm also considering photographic prints, greetings cards or postcards, I've wanted to do something with my photos for so long. Let me know what you think!

HELLO WORLD 👋 After a VERY long extended break, I return from the instagrave 🪦 I've really struggled with motivation and to be honest have felt very stuck, I'd fallen out of love with the business and have even considered packing it in for a while.

BUT out of almost nowhere, I've felt a sudden wave of motivation to create new things. I've decided to take my art in a different direction, I'll still be keeping the range of Brighton and gull themed goods, but going forward I'd like to have a larger focus on wildlife. It's something I'm truly passionate about, and creating wildlife designs at work have made me realise it's what I want to do here too.

I've invested in a printer to start being more in control with quantities and costs, I'm going to do less fine art Giclée printing, it's incredibly expensive and this means I can offer some more affordable options for artwork, making art more accessible for different budgets. Printing at home also reduces the carbon footprint of a lot of my range!

Apologies for the long post, but keep your eyes peeled for new designs landing and new products popping up! Much love ❤️

Hello! I'm alive ✨️

THIS SATURDAY I'll be doing my first market of this year! (Gasp!) With at the wonderful Shoreham Centre. Be sure to pop along and see loads of wonderful makers, as well as tasty food and fun workshops!

I'll be bringing along a handful of brand new prints, including these 3! (Modelled beautifully by my living room wall)
All 3 Worthing prints will be available in A4 for the first time. 🙌🙌🙌

These 3 were featured in Worthing's first LGBTQIA exhibition last year, so it's really exciting to have them as part of my range! I've only for 1 of each as a trial, so if you want one, be quick and snap one up! ✨️❤️
