Smart City Recruiters Ltd are currently looking to recruit Civils Supervisor / Civils Auditor to work with our clients on Openreach contracts – the work area will be as required by the client, their work areas are Cambridge, Peterborough, Norfolk, Nottinghamshire, Essex and Leicestershire regions .

The main area of focus initially will be checking CAT A defects and ensuring the sites meet the councils expectations.

Purpose of the role:

The Purpose of the Civils Auditor is to ensure a scheduled programme of work is delivered on time, to budget in a safe, quality manner across all products. The Civils Auditor will check defects on signing lighting and guarding.

- Responsible for ‘on the day’ delivery of all works within the region in a Safe, Quality and On Time manner.

- Identify areas for improvement at a supplier level providing feedback to the management team.

- Attend planned supplier CRM’s when requested and provide support to help them succeed in delivery.

- Stakeholder management within the customer base at operational level.

- General coaching & support (supplier management)

- Working collaboratively & in line with our clients policies

- Embed works mobile and whereabouts adherence with our supply chain.

- Ensure supplier resource, commitments are in place as per works volume, business critical items.

Looking for long-term contracts? We're recruiting FTTP Engineers for home installations in various locations, including South Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, London, Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex & Kent. Travel within 1hr from your home base!

✨ Requirements:
- Telecoms industry experience
- Comfortable working at heights
- Willingness to climb telegraph poles (training provided)

🔍 We offer training/accreditation courses for qualified individuals. If you're interested and have the right to work in the UK independently,

Jobs per day annualised salary
• 3 jobs per day = £30k per annum
• 4 jobs per day = £40k per annum
• 5 jobs per day = £50k per annum
• 6 jobs per day = £60k per annum

Full training will be provided (Training to be undertaken at Risby – near Bury St Edmunds or Crawley)
• When on training you will be paid £93.75 per day
• When buddying you will be paid £93.75 per day

FTTP Engineers working on an Openreach contract

We are looking for experienced engineers in Norfolk and Essex regions surrounding areas

Work will include;
Driving to customer sites to install FTTP
Climbing Telegraph Poles
Splicing single fibre
Liaising with customer to ensure service is live

Accreditations are required and training will be provided for these if required - 2-3 weeks training and 1-2 weeks buddying.
