JUST BECAUSE YOU SEE IT, DOES NOT MEAN YOU CAN SHARE IT.

As a temporary worker, you may come across customer details, internal documents, workplace conversations or information that isn't meant for public knowledge.

But where does your responsibility begin and where does it end?

Can you post that workplace photo?
Share that screenshot?
Tell a friend what happened on your shift?

The answer is not always as simple as you think.

We have explored what every temporary worker should understand about confidentiality, workplace information and professional discretion.

YOUR NEXT SHIFT COULD DEPEND ON YOUR LAST ONE.

Not because one mistake defines you.

But in temporary work, your professional reputation travels with you.

How you communicate.
How you handle commitments.
How you show up.
How honestly you represent your skills.

These small things can influence whether an agency or employer thinks of you when the next opportunity comes along.

So, what makes an agency worker someone clients can confidently recommend?

We have broken it down in our latest blog.

YOUR CV GOT YOU NOTICED. YOUR CHECKS GET YOU READY.

You got the role. You are ready to start.

Then the agency asks for your ID, references, qualifications, Right to Work documents or even a DBS check.

Why? And what happens if something doesn't match ?

Background checks are a normal part of recruitment, but there is more agency workers should understand before they submit those documents.

We have broken down what gets checked, why it matters, what can cause delays, and what you should know before starting your next assignment.

BEFORE YOU SIGN THAT AGENCY CONTRACT, STOP AND READ THE FINE PRINT.

Getting a new assignment can be exciting. But before you click “Accept” or put your signature on the page, do you know exactly what you are agreeing to?

Your agency contract can affect:
→ How much you are paid
→ Who pays you
→ What deductions apply
→ Your holiday entitlement
→ Your notice requirements
→ What happens when an assignment ends
→ Your employment status and working arrangements

And if an umbrella company or intermediary is involved, understanding the payment structure becomes even more important.

A contract should not leave you confused about your own employment.

Read it. Ask questions. Understand it. Then sign with confidence.

We have broken down 10 things every UK agency worker should understand before signing an agency contract in our latest blog.

Your temporary assignment has ended. Does that mean your employment journey has too?

Not necessarily.

For agency workers, the end of an assignment can bring a lot of questions:

→ What happens to my final pay?
→ What about unused holiday?
→ Do I need to give notice?
→ Can I get another assignment through the agency?
→ What happens if I've already worked 12+ weeks with the same hirer?

The answers can depend on your contract, employment status, and circumstances.

One thing is clear: temporary work does not mean you should be left in the dark.

At MEET Resources, we believe good recruitment goes beyond filling vacancies.

It means supporting clearer communication, better workforce experiences and stronger connections between workers and employers.

We explored what agency workers should know when an assignment ends — including holiday entitlement, notice, the 12-week rule, and what happens next.
