From teeny-weeny beginnings in 2013, SLS Creative has gone from being a Mum of two with a scalpel and cutting mat making paper cut art, to a fully fledged design and printing studio housing 7 printers (each with its own complex personality) , a few heavy duty chop-your-arm-off-if-you-look-at-it-wrong machines, a couple of over-worked workstations, three hot-beverage-supping worker bees, and more paper than you can shake a pointy stick at. Our job here is to provide you with utterly stroke-able, gorgeous bundles of stationery goodness. (Hey, weā€™re dealing with printers here, there has to be a lot of patienceā€¦)

Whatever you, or your business needs, we can help. From Notebooks to fully functioning e-commerce websites, and everything in between, weā€™ve got you covered. Shop now: www.slscreative.com

Hello Friday!

Itā€™s been a pretty busy one this week - I sense lots of you are getting your Autumn prep on with scratch cards, candle dust covers and vouchers being the weekā€™s big hitters.

While I havenā€™t fully descended into pumpkin spice madness, Iā€™m feeling itā€™s on the cards very soon šŸ‚ is it time to send Richy up the attic for the Autumn decs? Maybe next week.

Have a wonderful weekend šŸ„°

I think we all know which posters / flyers in particular Iā€™m calling out here šŸ‘€ who hasnā€™t been to an event this summer with a brightly coloured pixelated banner?

Part of the problem is so many people are accepting the first thing that Chat GPT spits out, it thinks thatā€™s what everyone wants and spits it out even MORE often - meaning even more businesses are handing out the exact same piece of artwork with a slight variation of details.

If youā€™re going to use AI for your design inspiration, feed it a bit more, ask it to make changes, tell it more about your business, your clients, and it could surprise you with something that stands out. From there, if you love it, we can recreate it so itā€™s actually suitable for print.

I promise, weā€™re not here to AI bash, itā€™s useful for a lot - but thereā€™s no point paying for print if itā€™s not going to grab peopleā€™s attention - itā€™s just defeating the object ā¤ļø
