Lesley is the glue that holds UGD together. She’s the acceptable face, chief nag to the design team and the friendly voice for our clients.

She manages and prioritises our work schedule, and if a deadline needs to be met, she is the one making it happen, using her fantastic organisation skills and some occasional sweet treat bribery to keep us on track to project completion.

Les has been a member of the team for 15 years already, but did you know she was previously a client of UGD? We believed hiring this feisty, go-getter would give the business the extra drive needed going forward and we were not disappointed, despite the increased levels of nagging.

She lives for the weekend (with no alarm) and her life adventures and is the most positive person we know. No matter what life throws at her, Lesley faces it head on and keeps on trucking, and she is always willing to help anybody with anything.

The Story of UGD

Twenty years later, we’re still here.

UGD has changed quite a bit over the years, but the important things haven’t: good ideas, proper expertise and genuine care when it comes to helping our customers get their design and print right.

Now, as we enter our next chapter, we’ve made another fairly noticeable change…

We’ve turned yellow.

Welcome to the new UGD. Same experience but somehow a much brighter wardrobe. Brighter than Ant’s socks!

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more of our story, introducing the people behind the work and showing you what we’ve been creating here in Bridgend.

Next month, we will be taking part in a sleep-out in Cardiff to raise vital funds for people experiencing homelessness. It really is heartbreaking to think that safe and secure housing still isn't a reality for everyone
No matter what circumstances someone faces, nobody should be without a roof over their head or a safe place to sleep at night. Roofs and beds shouldn't be a privilege!

🏰 Beach Academy CIC are hosting a sandcastle competition at Rest Bay, Porthcawl, this Sunday, 30 August, with all children welcome to take part between 1pm and 2.30pm.
