Today, we pause to observe Remembrance Day, which marks the end of World War I on November 11, 1918, when an armistice was signed at 11:00 a.m, ending the war.

To the brave heroes who have fallen and to those who continue to carry their legacy forward, we remember and honour you. Your courage shaped the world we live in today.

As we reflect, we are reminded by the words of Laurence Binyon’s poem:
