Good Morning Peoples! Just wanted to raise some awareness here and ask if you can pass this on, MOTO are planning to build a 250,000m2 services station on each side of the M25 in Navestock, Brentwood and are trying to do so on greenbelt land, greenbelt land abundant with wildlife including protected species! This as you know will decimate the area with no recovery, so if you can spare 5 mins we ask that you follow the link below and object to the proposal, MOTO have another potential site, they've simply picked on Navestock thinking no one can do anything to stop them!
Check the photos of the impact it will have, these are taken directly from the outline plans MOTO submitted to Brentwood Council Planning

EDIT: You don't need to live in Brentwood to object, can be any borough!

If you do object please read the others first, a rant doesn't count, you need to quote facts, such as it is in direct conflict with the green belt code, that Badger population will be erased, bats loss of home and feeding areas etc
Kindest Regards,
All at Dalectronics

Just taking 5 from the benches and messages to do a quick post..
So here we have an RX plus, in semi-regular use, but the user noted a battery leak and then a barely viewable LED on all the time, and no other function/s, once opened however it told a far worse story, this alarm is a total loss, the corrosive action of the battery leakage has damaged so much copper there is no practical/reliable way to repair this level of damage. Please please check your batteries regularly, even when fishing often, once a month it's worth removing and visually inspecting them, the AA cells often have a "sweat mark" at the point of leakage, if you can catch them then all is good or if you see any signs of a leak, don't just replace the batteries, remove them and get it sent in as if caught early enough the board can be saved!

Well hello there peoples!
We've been uber busy beavering away in the workshop fully on repairs, and keeping up with various message platforms, so much so that we had left our Facebook and Insta news to one side..! So, time to change that up :) This is the first of what promises to be regular updates and repair progress posts to show the horrors and not so horrid boards etc we get in/...
Here we have an NTXr that had batteries left in over the winter, the electrolyte had escaped and attacked the solder, actually turning into a new compound that seperated several pins from pads etc, so a new approach was applied and the results were a far happier, working alarm! :)
Also, we can't be at the Essex Carp Show this weekend, but if you are passing by we will open the workshop up for a few hours on Saturday and Sunday should you wish to drop off some kit or ask advice etc..
Best Regards,
Dal, Lisa and Emily
