Dementia affects us all.
Its cruelty overwhelms those living with it.
But It doesnโt just affect families and individuals with dementia.
It takes its toll on the economy, the NHS and our health and social care systems.

Dementia is the UKโs biggest killer
In the UK someone develops dementia every 3 minutes.
1 in 3 people born in the UK today will go on to develop dementia in their lifetime
Around 1 million people in the UK are living with dementia.
1.8 million people in England provide care for someone with dementia
At least one in three people with dementia donโt have a diagnosis.
Only together can we beat dementia โ by giving vital support to those who need it, funding groundbreaking research, and campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be.
