💙 A lovely visit from the Eventura team today!

Back in August, Eventura joined the fun at Party in the Park in Westhoughton, running a tombola to raise money for BLGC.

Thanks to everyone who got involved, they raised a brilliant £500 for the Club! 🙌

Today, Krisha and Helen popped in to present the cheque and had a grand tour of BLGC to see where their support will make a difference.

A huge thank you to the whole Eventura team for choosing to support us, and to everyone who had a go on the tombola. 💙

It’s always brilliant to see local businesses getting behind BLGC and supporting children and young people across Bolton.

We’re looking forward to tomorrow’s walk!

We’re proud to be sponsoring the Steven Carter Memorial Walk, taking place tomorrow, Saturday 29 August, at 10am.

The walk is a chance to remember Steven and celebrate his life, while also raising vital funds for Breaking Barriers NW, a Bolton charity supporting disabled children, young people and their families.

Help Bolton Walking raise money to support Breaking Barriers NW

Just a few days to go until we remember our pal Steven Carter with a wonderful walk in his honour. This infographic will hopefully be of use to those of you who have signed up to attend one of the three stages of the walk rather than the full route.

I just want to pass on my sincere thanks to all at Eventura who have very kindly stepped up to sponsor the event, providing support to participants at the various refreshment stops.

There is a Just Giving page set up in Steven's memory to raise funds for Breaking Barriers, who do a fantastic job of helping children and adults with autism and ADHD. Please do try to give even a small donation to help this wonderful charity make a difference in the world.

As a personal token of thanks to all who are joining the walk, I will be sending out a special Moors to Mountains - Guided Adventures discount code to all volunteers and participants that can be used to book onto future M2M activities and save a few quid.

And let's have a massive show of appreciation to the venues for allowing us to tramp through en masse and have a well deserved break = The Bridge Hotel, Horwich., The Pike Snack Shack, Black Dog Pub, Masons Arms, The Strawbury Duck.
