Something a little different for Talking Football! 🏏💙💛

Today we swapped the footballs for rounders as our Talking Football men and women took part in a fantastic charity rounders tournament held at Blackrod Cricket Club, all in memory of Julie Whitehead. ❤️

The tournament was raising money for Bolton Hospice and Maggie’s Centre, and what an amazing turnout it was! So many teams came together for a brilliant day filled with plenty of competition, lots of laughs and, most importantly, a great community spirit.

It was also fantastic to meet and play against some seriously good rounders teams — although we’re not sure we’ll be giving up football just yet! 😂🏏

A huge thank you to everyone who organised the event and, of course, for allowing Talking Football to be part of such a special day.

We hope the tournament has raised a fantastic amount for two incredibly important causes.

Most importantly, a brilliant day was had by everyone who took part. 💙💛
