Purpose Beyond Design: Our Next Chapter

I wasn’t funded for the fully bionic hand I needed most.

And that experience shaped the direction of my life.

I had a myoelectric hand from the age of three — heavy, awkward, and barely practical. It affected my posture and even caused a shoulder dislocation that I still manage today.

Only two patients at a time could receive a fully bionic hand through the NHS, and only if they met strict criteria.

Eventually, I stopped wearing my prosthetic altogether.

It wasn’t empowering — it had become more of a hazard than a tool.

But that experience changed me.

Because I know what it feels like to live without the right support, I want to help change that for someone else.

The Hero Arms supported by the Open Bionics Foundation are life-changing — lightweight, intuitive, and fully functional. The fingers and wrist move, allowing people to grip, lift, and interact with the world in ways that can transform everyday life.

At Creative Creations, we’ve always focused on building meaningful identities for businesses.

Now, this next chapter is about using that same creativity and skill to also help create personal identities in a life-changing way.

Each year, Creative Creations will contribute to supporting the Foundation’s work. We’re not a charity and we don’t fundraise through our business — we simply want to use our platform, creativity, and success to make a meaningful difference.

I hid in crowds.

I questioned the way I looked.

HI EVERYONE!!!

So after leaving you on a cliff hanger after our last post...I'm excited to say...I have just created a NEW hardback journal for children age 6+...we made a few changes and went from self publishing the journal on Amazon to printing actual hard back copies ourselves...which is much better quality and durable! Hence the wait for the next post 😁

So I promised I would tell you what makes the journal unique...and what better way to explain it then tell you the FULL STORY about it and its benefits in person!

What started off as a gratitude journal idea has now evolved into A BOND BUILDER JOURNAL! It will be a journal that children feel proud to own but more importantly open on a daily basis!....

For me, the creation of The Bond Builder Journal is deeply personal. As a mother to a child diagnosed with autism, I have faced the challenges of helping my son navigate emotions, adapt to changes, and communicate more effectively.

A total rebrand!

Geoff Peck from Paw Paw Taxology approached us at The Business Show 2021. He really wanted to rebrand his company (Paw Paw Taxology), come up with a brand new name and then totally transform all his branding and marketing materials. So after months and months of working as part of his team we decided on the name Xyto Taxology!

We wanted to shake up the digital tax world, by introducing a brand that is full of new energy into the niche pre-digital shortcomings.

In our eyes the answer is no. It’s the branding that sets the scene for your whole website. It gives it personality, a true colour palette and sets the tone for all the imagery. That’s what brings along the whole user experience!

So if you’re a startup business or an established business always remember to first get your logo and branding toolkit sorted before thinking about your website. They all work hand in hand. The brand toolkit will have shapes and styles you can adopt onto your website.

If you decide to work in the opposite way you will find that the branding and visualisation your designer had for your brand won’t execute seamlessly through to your website.

That is a huge percentage of potential customers you could be loosing because either:

Does your business look like a genuine business I’d want to buy from?

More than anything else, people want to feel like each brand they engage with is credible and worth their time, which means consistency across all elements of your brand—from the name, logo and colors to the interaction design of web pages or app screens are a core element of maintaining a consistent brand image.

If I was to choose between two company tenders I’d choose the one that looks professional on all platforms. As it puts your mind at rest that if they have invested, look credible and are taking pride in how there own business looks they will deliver what they said they will.

Always remember emotions sells over logic.
