⭐️ SEO. ⭐️
Three little letters that may send your brain into a scrambled mess or you have no idea what I’m talking about!
Let’s start with the obvious: What is SEO?
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). Maybe you’ve heard it’s got something to do with ranking on Google or driving more people to your website, but you aren’t really sure how it works or what you need to do about it.
And that’s ok, SEO is a big topic. In short, how successful your website is, comes down to how good your SEO is. It’s the process of improving your website and its content so it’s easy to find through search engines and more people head to your site!
Keeping the search engines happy starts with the technical elements and ends with your content. Luckily, when getting your SEO sorted many things only need to be done once then they stay in place forever. Other things will need to be done each time you add new content to your website.
Don’t let this put you off though – I’m here to help!
It’s been a question that pops up quite a lot in my Website Clinic calls and an area that overwhelms a lot of new business owners, especially if they’re creating their first website themselves.
