It has been a bad month for customers calling for assistance after allowing scammers to connect to their computer.
Under no circumstances should you allow anybody to connect to your computer or mobile device as a result of a message popping up on your screen or receiving a phone call from anybody regardless to who they say they work for.
If you contact an engineer for assistance with your computer because you know you have an issue then it is fine to allow them to connect remotely. Insist that they use Microsoft 'Quick Assist', which is built into Windows 8, 10, and 11. The engineer would of had to register with Microsoft to gain an access code for you making them traceable.

Latest Microsoft update KB5034441 fails to install. There is a bug with this update linked to the computers Recovery Partition. Ignore this update and wait for Microsoft to resolve the issue

Scammers are using local telephone numbers as caller id in a bid to convince you that fraudulent purchases are being made with your Bank Account. Do not select any of the number options suggested, just put the phone down and block the number.
