Following in my father’s footsteps, I showed huge interest in the wonderful world of show business from an early age and at just sixteen, I began my career as the Entertainments Manager at Blackpool’s biggest hotel, the Norbreck Castle, where my role was to provide an all-year-round programme of daily activities and first-class nightly entertainment. I was later given responsibility for Conference
and Banqueting, before heading-up the Sales and Marketing department. It was here that I initially gained my extensive knowledge of staging events, with the venue hosting back-to-back conferences for up to 1500 delegates and filling over 2500 square meters of floor space with exhibitions and televised sporting events. Coinciding with my early career, I founded WTP Ltd and initially began supplying entertainers and bands to hotels, holiday centres and corporate clients and I soon gained a reputation for providing a reliable quality service, at a competitive price. We extended our offer to include Conference Production and Event Management and after staging events throughout the UK for over twenty years, this has now become the forefront of the business.
