UK employees waste a whole day a month due to IT issues according to YouGov 😯

We've all been there - you're working to a tight deadline, open the application you need on your PC or laptop, but instead of being able get on with putting the finishing touches to your report, or updating that crucial spreadsheet, you're met with the 'spinning wheel of death'.

A 2017 survey of 2,015 private sector workers by pollsters at YouGov found that 5.59% of an employee's productive time is wasted on IT problems. That equates to 27 minutes every day, 2.5 hours every week, or a whole day a month.

The most common IT problems reported by workers were slow running systems and equipment, failures in internet connection, and outdated kit.

Not only is that downtime frustrating for employees, incredibly it costs employers an estimated £35 billion a year collectively.

Interesting to see two of social media's biggest companies supposedly spreading stories about the danger to children of using the other platform.

We for one, are big advocates of collabaration, and wonder if they would be better off concentrating on celebrating their own platforms instead of trying to trample others?

The Washington Post alleges a consultancy was paid by Meta to promote stories of dangerous TikTok trends.

That is what it takes for Derian House to keep providing the free care to the families it supports every year.

Only 12% of that comes from the government, and please don't take this as a political post.

It means that the hospice needs £4.4 million pounds to keep it's doors open, and why Abbey ICT have decided to take part in the corporate challenge.

Now, a story has come to light where a group of "hacktivists" are retaliating against Putin and Russia for their attacks on Ukraine.
