Fantastic news for everyone across the entire B4RN community — our recent 𝐋𝐚𝐳𝐨𝐧𝐛𝐲 event will be featured tomorrow on 𝐁𝐁𝐂 𝐎𝐧𝐞 (𝐂𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐚 & 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭) – 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 at 𝟏𝟖:𝟑𝟎.

This is not just a spotlight on one place. It’s a moment that reflects the strength of all our communities: people collaborating, spreading the word, helping neighbours get signed up, supporting local projects, and keeping momentum going across every corner of the B4RN network.

From Lancashire to Yorkshire, from Cumbria to Northumberland, and all the brilliant villages and towns in between — this story belongs to all of us.

I hope to see you all there! Lets get this project going. We need your help as we cannot do it alone. The government are providing funding to make this happen but without your help it’s at a stand still.

Only 5 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 until the essential volunteer meeting, as we aim to start the build in April, but this will not be possible without more volunteers to help with wayleaves, registrations of interest, and spreading the word across the dale. Any help you can give — even a small amount — is genuinely appreciated.

We are at a crucial stage, and we urgently need more volunteers to keep the momentum going. A single conversation, a leaflet drop, or a chat with a landowner can make a real difference to your neighbours and the future of the valley.

Getting information out across the dale quickly and effectively.

Speaking with landowners, gathering details, and helping secure the permissions that unlock entire areas.

Your attendance will directly shape how quickly we can move, how many homes we can reach, and how strong our community effort becomes.
