CWS are a Birmingham-based Specialist Electrical Distributor with a truly national reach. We supply a wide range of electrical products and are recognised for our expertise in Electrical Control Gear, Lighting, Cable Supports, General Electrical Installation Products, and in particular, our Specialist Cable Supply.

We are currently looking for a Warehouse / Driver / Picking & Packing Operative to join our team. This is a full-time position within a growing and well-established company.

Key Responsibilities:

▪️Picking and packing customer orders accurately

▪️Receiving and organising incoming stock

▪️Preparing goods for dispatch

▪️Delivering orders to customers when required, locally & nationwide.

▪️Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment

▪️Supporting the wider team with general warehouse duties

Requirements:

▪️Ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment

▪️Good attention to detail

▪️Full UK driving licence (required)

▪️Successful candidate must meet our fleet insurance requirements

▪️Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Warehouse Assistant / Driver based in Birmingham. The role includes handling day-to-day warehouse operations such as packing orders, managing inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels, and operating equipment like forklifts when necessary. Additionally, the role involves delivering products to customers promptly and professionally, ensuring excellent customer service during interactions.

Qualifications

▪️Experience in Packing and Inventory Management to ensure accurate order preparation - training given.
▪️Skills in Inventory Control and Forklift Operation to maintain smooth warehouse activities - training given.
▪️Strong Customer Service skills to ensure positive interactions while delivering products.
▪️Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
▪️A valid driver’s license is required - this is a pre-requisite.
▪️Prior experience in a warehouse or similar setting is a plus.
