Despite the weather doing its best to spoil the party, every player has now completed their round and the scorecards are in. All that’s left now is the small matter of the results, the leaderboard, and the prize presentations.

After proving a big hit at Hollinwell, we’ve brought it back out again today.

This time set up on the first tee at Lindrick, giving every player real-time data on their opening drive. Ball speed, carry distance, launch angle - it’s all there in black and white. No hiding anything on Hole 1 today.

And if that wasn’t enough to focus the mind, there’s plenty more to play for out on the course today:

It’s a soggy one at Lindrick Golf Club today, but that’s not stopping anyone. ☔

Round 2 of the EBC Invitational is officially underway, with all groups now out on the course and the competition very much back on. A bit of rain never hurt anyone.

For those who missed Round 1 at Hollinwell, here’s how it works: five invite-only qualifying rounds at some of the finest courses in the country, with the strongest performers across the series securing their place at the grand final at JCB Golf & Country Club on 1 October 2026. The stakes are high and the leaderboard is wide open.

HUGE Congratulations to on being crowned champions for the 25/26 season!

From administration to champions in just a few years, it’s been an incredible journey and a testament to the resilience of everyone involved with the club.

While this year’s title won’t result in a return to the Premiership, the focus on rebuilding sustainably and creating strong foundations has clearly paid off.

What a day of golf. Here’s how the leaderboard finished up:

🥇 1st — Mike Ellis — 37 points
🥈 2nd — Lewis Taylor — 36 points
🥉 3rd — David Richards — 33 points

The standard today was seriously impressive and made for a brilliant first qualifying round. Well played to every single player who competed, it was a fantastic day at a fantastic venue.
