Back in June, we delivered a Mending Workshop as part of Growing Up Green 2026 in
We were so lucky to have some amazing volunteers from TextilesBCU join us and help bring the workshop to life!
One of the most special moments was seeing some familiar young faces again and hearing about the impact of the workshop from two years ago. One young girl told us that she had taken a needle, thread and threader home with her and had been embroidering ever since because of what she learned with us!
It’s moments like these that remind us why creative opportunities, skills- sharing and sustainability are so important.
