Throwback Thursday to one of the most outrageous amplifiers VIBE has ever created.

The BlackDeath Bass 2 — better known as “The Reaper.” 💀

Built for serious SPL competition, this nearly 1-metre-long monster could deliver up to 14,500W RMS @ 1Ω at 18V, with a maximum output of 29,000 watts.

Triple 0 AWG power and ground inputs. 0.5Ω stable. And if one somehow wasn’t enough… you could strap two together.

A reminder of just how far back VIBE’s history with big power goes.

And with some new SPL power on the way… it felt like the right time to bring this monster back out of the archives. 👀

We get a LOT of comments asking for speaker sound demos… 👀

The problem? A video can’t accurately represent a speaker’s true performance. The sound is limited by the recording microphone, video compression and, ultimately, the phone, laptop or speakers you’re watching it on — and your iPhone can only do so much. 😂
