Zakat al-Fitr is an obligatory charity that is mandatory for every Muslim who has surplus food beyond their basic needs for the day and night of Eid.

It is a vital act of worship designed to cleanse the fast of Ramadan and provide for the needy.

Ibn 'Umar (RA) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) commanded one Sa’ of food, making it mandatory for all Muslims—young, old, male, female, free, and slave.

It compensates for deficiencies in fasting, cleansing the soul from foul language or improper actions.

It ensures the poor and needy can celebrate Eid joyfully, preventing the need to ask for alms.

May Allah accept it from us 🙏

Ramadan serves as a "school for life" and a period of reflection, highlighting that true compassion, charity, and solidarity should extend far beyond the holy month into daily life.

Sustaining the spirit of kindness, generosity, and community support is a crucial test of the spiritual growth achieved during fasting.

The spirit of charity and generosity should continue, with a focus on helping those in need, supporting the community, and caring for the sick.

The discipline and positive habits nurtured during the month, such as patience and empathy, should be carried forward into daily life.

May Allah accept it and make us witness more of it on this earth 🙏

As we are reaching the end of Ramadan doesn't mean it is farewell to worship, but rather a means to continue on the establish devotion.

Reflecting on this period involves gratitude for having completed the fast and a commitment to maintaining the spiritual habits gained during the month like reading.

Do not return the Quran to the "top shelf." Continue reading it daily, even if it is only a page.

Even if not done every night, continuing to pray even two rak'ahs at night keeps the spiritual connection alive.

While Zakat al-Fitr ends, regular charity (Sadaqah) should continue to extinguish

Ya Allah, make us among those who are successful, not among the deprived 🙏
