In light of the recent advise from the government CAS are ensuring that all staff that can work from home will do so.

The health and safety of our staff is of the utmost importance to us and by introducing these steps we hope to minimise any risk to them and their families.

Therefore, our office will run on limited staff and limited hours. Phones may be diverted if necessary. If you cannot contact us on the office number please call Julie on 07940 592583 or Gail on 07940 581943.

If you need to drop work into us could you please leave it in our pigeon hole in reception, or if you need to come down to the office can you please leave it by the door and knock and let us know it is there? Alternatively work could be scanned and emailed in or couriered.

If you should need to know any information this will be available from our Sage accounts system which we can access remotely, or if you need information from physical paperwork then we will get this information to you as quickly as we possibly can, but please bear with us.

At CAS we pride ourselves in delivering excellent customer service and we thank you in advance for your patience during this uncertain time.

Part time General Book –keeper required duties to include sales and purchase ledger and bank reconciliation for various companies using Sage Software.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Good working knowledge of VAT rules and regulations.
General admin roles within an office environment including filing and other tasks as required.
Self employed Book-keeper would be considered, but must be prepared to work at our office.
The following would be an advantage
3 years’ experience of book keeping and Sage entry and a knowledge of other accounting software packages

Job Description
Part time General Book -keeping and payroll duties to include accounts to trial balance for various companies using Sage Software. Running payrolls using Sage Software, RTI submissions and pension processing.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Good working knowledge of VAT rules and regulations.

We are looking to recruit an experienced part time book keeper and payroll clerk. We are based in Birmingham and would like a ‘presence in the office’ we are looking for someone with at least 3 years experience in Sage Line 50 Accounts and payroll, with the ability to produce accounts up to trial balance.
