Linn LP12 for sale

This is a very special example of an LP12. This build uses over £3k of new components and whilst prices similarly to a new Majik, it would absolutely demolish one. This is an apt illustration of how capable the LP12 platform can be with the right third-party upgrades.

The first is the Arm One/II from Audio Note (UK) Ltd which performs at Arko level, but at the cost of an Ekos.
This has a Hana cartridges SL MK2 which is a stunning MC cart that can fully resolve on this arm.

The Zeus MK2 PSU from Valhalla Electronics tops its all off. This outperforms the Lingo 4 in listening tests.
Purists will likely get upset but this is built for performance. Nothing is left on the table.

A 1992 example which has had some upgrades. This has a StackAudio Alto top plate which greatly reduces vibration to the subchassis. It also has the Stack cross brace and baseboard. In addition, this has a Hercules II PSU which offers 33/45rpm.

We’ve had the Akito tonearm rebuilt by John at J7 Rewires so it performs well above what an original Akito was ever capable of.
The arm is fitted with a Dynavector 10x5 HOMC which is in great shape, as well as a Van den Hul D502 tonearm cable.

It has been fully dismantled, throughly checked & cleaned, and put back together with the level of attention that only we can deliver.

The next album of our 35th Anniversary celebration list is the monumental debut from Pearl Jam

This hit in between me leaving school and starting college. New environment, new people, and new music.
Starting college exposed me to so many other musical tastes and opinions. It was truly transformative for this young metal-head.

Enough has already been said about this album, but the scale of possibilities was unclear at the time, as was the chain reaction that would follow through the rest of the 90s.

What an incredible time to be a part of.

An original mid-80s example. This was stored for over 20 years by the owner, who tasked us with prepping it for sale.
A classic combination of afromosia plinth, Ittok LVII arm and K9 cartridge, and the Valhalla power supply.

The Valhalla had capacitors, so we replaced it with another Valhalla board which has been fully serviced.
The Ittok is the gem, here. Its bearings are fully free and it registered 96 swings when put on test.
