“Kombiflex” multiband antennas include Tetra/AM-FM/GPS, Tetra/GSM-3g-UMTS/GPS, DAB/AM-FM/GPS. Applications also include VHF Hi-Band (2 metres), VHF Lo-Band (4 metres) and UHF (70 cm). Products are currently in development for 4G/LTE.
In addition to antennas, ABB are at the forefront of DAB innovation, with the introduction earlier this year of a DAB/AM-FM Amplifier and Splitter, enabling DAB reception from a factory fit vehicle mounted passive antenna (non-amplified) without the need for additional or replacement antenna. This product is already proving popular in the digital marketplace, and is being further developed for today’s shifting automotive applications.
