It's been a tough time for all... Thank you to all for your patience during the time we had to close our shop during the lockdown. The shop is now back up and running albeit a little different. We ask customers to call 01248 602584 if possible to call to book a 'slot' during working hours - this helps with social distancing and booking in repairs/collections.

Hand sanitiser, gloves are available as is sanitiser for equipment etc

Our suppliers are also getting back into operation and back orders etc are beginning to arrive.

I have to thank you all for your continued support over this difficult period and all the phone calls we received for queries etc!

Covid 19 Update...

Looks like the shop will be closed for the next 3 weeks. I'll be continuing with previous work from the workshop set up from home. Due to the restrictions in place please use the usual phone number and Facebook messenger for any enquiries regarding repairs or advice... Thanks! :)

Just finished a full strip down, repair and service on this old Sharp RT-1155H cassette tape deck... Included mechanical repair and new VU lamps!

As many other businesses... Our shop will be closed until we are given permission to reopen hopefully after the 3 week period. In the meantime - I can only repair certain jobs at home due to the lack of my bench test gear etc. Thanks for your understanding at this difficult time for all. I'm still happy to answer new queries regarding TV repair etc... please use the messaging.

Another vintage record player repair... This time it's a Fidelity with valves! Its turntable was all seized up and the sound was intermittent. A strip down of the mechanism got the deck back up and running along with some work on the amp to resolve the sound problem. A new mains cable and plug with some new speaker cloth and white caps and trim to finish the job!
