If anyone is reliant on yahoo mail and finds it not to be working today, try clearing the cache and data from the app on your phone. I have fixed a few phones with this method in the last 12 hours. Seems to be android users primarily that have an issue. Haven’t seen it broken on iPhone yet.

Getting so bored of these "you've been hacked" messages now! At least hack an email account that exists for a change you idiots - how you send email from an account that doesn't even exist is beyond me!

"Hello, I'm calling from British Telecoms, your computer has a virus which is affecting your internet connection....!"

If you get any of these suspicious calls this Christmas, please ignore them, hang up and block the number if you can.

This is a well-documented scam originating from a various indian call centres. The calls you receive will nearly always appear to originate from innocent local numbers or mobile numbers. They will attempt to fool you into allowing them access into your computer, at which point they will install a couple of pointless programs and then charge you a sum of money for fixing nothing, as there was nothing wrong in the first place.

Please don't get scammed out of your hard-earned money this Christmas! If you have already succumbed to one of these phone calls and are concerned that your computer is at risk, please get in touch!
