Mental Health Awareness Week | 11th–17th May

Mental health is something that affects every workplace, every team, and every individual differently, and it’s something that deserves more than just one week of recognition.

In fast-paced industries and high-pressure environments, it can be easy to focus purely on deadlines, delivery, and results. But behind every successful project is a team of people, and looking after those people matters just as much as the work itself.

At Kinetic, we know the importance of creating an environment where people feel supported, listened to, and able to speak openly.

Whether someone is having a good day or a difficult one, knowing there is support around them can make a real difference.

Mental Health Awareness Week is a reminder that checking in with colleagues, offering support, and simply making time for conversation can go a long way.

Small actions often have the biggest impact.

To everyone working hard behind the scenes, managing pressures, supporting others, or simply doing their best each day, this week is for you.

🚧 Behind the Build: Delivering Broadcast Ready Infrastructure

When live sport is on the line, there’s no room for compromise.

This structured cabling installation was designed and delivered to support the live transmission of sporting broadcasts to television networks, providing the high-performance infrastructure needed for seamless broadcast and data connectivity.

The installation consisted of 👇
🔹 In excess of 100,000 metres of copper data cable
🔹 In excess of 4,000 copper data terminations
🔹 In excess of 16,000 metres of fibre optic cable
🔹 In excess of 5,000 fibre optic terminations

This project delivered a state of the art cabling system, enabling high speed and reliable transmission across both broadcast and data networks.

Success came down to detailed planning, technical expertise, and strong collaboration across every stage of the project from design and estimation through to installation and delivery.

Delivered by Kinetic IT Ltd 👇
🔹 Nolan Chock – Head of Design & Estimation
🔹 John Purcell– Senior Design Consultant
🔹 Steve Hayden – Senior Project Manager
🔹 Ilko Iliev – Site Manager
🔹 Installation Team, led by Ilko Iliev

A great example of teamwork, coordination, and specialist delivery in a high demand environment.

From Design to Decommission: Delivering IT Infrastructure That Performs When It Matters

Not all IT services are created equal — especially when the environments are critical, and the margin for error is zero.

At Kinetic IT, what we do is simple in principle, but high stakes in ex*****on: we design, build, operate, and evolve physical IT environments that businesses rely on every day.

From day one through to end-of-life, we support the full lifecycle:

🔹 White space fit outs – building environments that are ready for scale, resilience, and performance
🔹 Structured cabling – the backbone that keeps everything connected and running seamlessly
🔹 Managed services – ongoing support that keeps operations stable and responsive
🔹 IT asset disposal – secure, compliant, and responsible end-of-life handling
🔹 Dilapidation services – restoring spaces back to standard, without disruption
🔹 IT equipment relocation – moving critical infrastructure without compromising uptime
🔹 Design & consultation – getting it right before the first cable is even laid

But the real difference isn’t just in the services — it’s in how we deliver them.

It’s about understanding the environment, aligning with the standards, and executing with precision. It’s about building long-term partnerships, not just completing projects. And it’s about showing up when it matters most.

Because in mission-critical spaces, “good enough” isn’t an option.

1 Year In ⚡️

Meet Charlie 👇

One year into his journey with Kinetic, and what a year it’s been

Charlie leapt into something completely new. Moving from over 10 years of experience to starting fresh came with its nerves, but he was ready for change, ready to adapt and take on the challenge.

The past 12 months have been a learning curve. Along the way, Charlie has built strong new relationships, developed a team of operatives into a cohesive and reliable unit, along with learning new client systems, processes, and the unique challenges each site brings.

Biggest takeaway?
The value of teamwork and strong relationships. Being the team that steps up even when it’s outside the remit. Taking responsibility, making decisions, and moving things forward when others are waiting.

Biggest challenge?
Space management is trying to fit a gallon into a pint pot when processes aren’t followed, and plans shift.

What’s made the difference?
Accessible leadership, strong teamwork, and clear communication. Leading from the front and staying hands-on.

💭“Stay open, stay adaptable, and don’t be afraid to take on challenges. You learn the most when you’re in the deep end.”

Charlie is grateful for the opportunities, the lessons, and the people along the way.

It’s been great to see Charlie’s growth over the past year, and we’re looking forward to what’s next.

Inside the Mind of a Senior Build Manager ⚡

Meet Ben Moore 👇

Delivering in high-risk environments goes far beyond having a solid plan on paper, it’s about ex*****on when it counts. It means making confident decisions in the moment, keeping everyone pulling in the same direction, and maintaining control when deadlines are compressed and the stakes are high.

Biggest project challenge?
Delivering an urgent fibre capacity upgrade—installing and commissioning 5,000+ cores between data halls in just 4 days.
Success came down to detailed planning, strong team support, on-site logistics, and a highly experienced crew using the right specialist kit.

Dealing with scope creep?
Expect it.
Plan for it.
Communicate early, get approvals, and keep clients updated—no surprises.

💬 “Clear communication and transparency are key to delivering successfully while maintaining trust.”

Career advice I’ve learned.

💬 “Stay open to opportunities and don’t be afraid to push beyond your comfort zone — that’s where the real growth happens.”

A day in the life of a Data Centre Services Manager

Meet Paul Sawyer 👇

Keeping critical infrastructure running 24/7 isn’t just the job, it’s the standard.

From early briefings with the Head of Data Centre Services, Ross Chell, to coordinating maintenance and overseeing live works, every day is about staying in control of fast-moving environments.

Health & safety, uptime, and risk management are always top priorities. Alongside building strong client relationships and supporting successful delivery.

But it’s not just operations. Behind the scenes, it’s detailed planning and commercial focus, from building quotes and RAMS to pricing labour, materials, and timelines to deliver competitive, high-quality solutions.

And the impact?
Projects delivered across the UK and Europe, from White Space fit-outs and dilapidations to structured cabling in Lisbon and Vienna, hardware installs in Amsterdam, and large-scale critical migrations.

💬 “No two days are the same — it’s about staying ahead, solving problems quickly, and making sure everything runs exactly as it should, no matter the pressure. Working at Kinetic IT has been a really rewarding experience, allowing me to keep developing my technical, operational and commercial skills while delivering critical infrastructure projects in fast-paced environments.” – Paul Sawyer

Fast paced. High-pressure. Highly rewarding.

That’s what a day in the life looks like at Kinetic IT.
