A fantastic evening yesterday at D&G’s 30th Anniversary TEQ Awards 2026, where we were delighted to be recognised with a Highly Commended Award.

🚨WE’RE GROWING - AND WE’RE HIRING! 🔧

Are you hands-on, technically minded and love fixing things? We’re looking for a Small Domestic Appliance Workshop Engineer to join our rapidly growing family-run business in Bellshill.

You’ll be repairing and assessing everything from air fryers, coffee machines and kettles to microwaves, toasters, vacuum cleaners, blenders, mixers, TVs and more!

🔧 What we’re looking for:
•Practical & reliable with a can-do attitude
•Confident dealing with customers
•Able to work independently & as part of a team
•Experience with appliance/electrical repairs required
•PCB repairs & soldering skills are a bonus but not essential
📸 You’ll also carry out assessments, record jobs & images, provide repair quotes, source parts and ensure health & safety is always followed.

💷 Pay: £13–£15 per hour, depending on experience
⏰ Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Due to corrupted windows, this customer was unable to restore or reset their laptop. We created a fresh USB with Windows 11, manually wiped the customers SSD followed by reinstalling Windows 11 and installing all the necessary drivers for their laptop. Laptop back to working order within 24hrs 👏

HDMI and USB 3.0 port bent/faulty. One of our engineers removed the damaged ports using our hot air reflow station, cleaned all the connection points and installed replacement parts using lead free solder. A final test was carried out which confirmed the ports were working perfectly.

All the team at JST have been getting involved in the TikTok trend "Topic of the Day". It’s fair to say it’s sparked some questionable conversations, surprising answers and plenty of laughs around the workplace 😅🤔

From where you keep your tomato sauce to who would die first in a zombie apocalypse and everything in between 🤣 it’s been a fun way to bring the team together and learn a little more about everyone we work alongside everyday 💚
