We recently ran our first Modern Advisor Workshop at Catalyst Belfast, and a couple of things from the feedback stuck with us.

Every advisor who came named compliance and admin workload as one of the biggest challenges they’re facing right now.

Most of them put AI and automation at the top of their lists of technologies that actually interest them.

Some are spending up to 10 hours a week on admin that they believe could be automated.

We asked what they would do with that time back if they had it.

The answers were a good reminder of why any of this matters.

Growing the business.
Speaking to more clients.
Honestly, just relaxing.
Having a hobby again.

Then there was this, from one of the advisors in the room:

“Seeing the system live made all the difference. On-screen demos just don’t do it justice. Watching an advisor use it in real time puts it into perspective: how much time you save, and how the file stays compliant under Consumer Duty rules.”

AI Auto-Fill was built to solve a problem every adviser knows.

Spending hours pulling information from documents.

Today, we held our first Modern Advisor Workshop at Catalyst, Belfast.

This workshop was created to bring advisors together to share experiences, discuss challenges and explore what the future of advice looks like in practice.

The conversations today showed just how valuable it is when advisors have the opportunity to step back from the day-to-day and learn from one another.

A room full of advisors talking about the reality of running an advice business today.

The pressure on time.
The expectations from clients.
The challenge of staying connected.
The need to be more efficient without losing the relationship.
The opportunities that can slip through the cracks without the right tools.

The future of advice is not about replacing advisors.

It is about helping advisors spend more time doing what they do best — building trusted relationships, delivering better customer outcomes and creating stronger businesses.

A huge thank you to Marney Magee for being an absolute rockstar today and sharing her experience, and to everyone who came along, contributed and helped shape the conversation.

Today was about listening, learning, sharing, challenging and improving.

And it feels like a really positive start.
