A really nice full home UniFi solution carried out this week in Lurgan for a long term customer in his new home.

Our client knew exactly what he wanted and who he wanted to do it ๐Ÿ˜ He wanted complete perimeter security, he wanted a video doorbell and a fast, reliable and secure full home WiFi solution, internal and external.

We went with 4 x G5 turret ultra cameras, 1 x G6 entry doorbell with a PoE chime and 3 WiFi access points. Everything listed is hardwired back to a UniFi 8 port PoE switch and then we have a UniFi Cloud Gateway Max acting as our router, cloud controller and NVR for the CCTV system.

An all in one solution done right โœ”๏ธ

A Starlink and full UniFi solution set up yesterday for a client in Larne.

Up until yesterday, our client had been using his Starlink router paired with 3 Starlink wireless nodes which to be honest, wasnโ€™t doing much to help distribute the WiFi performance throughout the house properly.

We started off by relocating the Starlink cable and router from the downstairs office up to the attic space. We then installed a UniFi Cloud Gateway router and UniFi PoE switch which would be used to support 4 properly networked UniFi WiFi access points.

Full signal, full speed and maximum performance provided everywhere throughout the house โšก๏ธ

I even had time for a wee shot on the decks in the underground techno bunker ๐ŸŽง ๐ŸŽถ ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ

Job Request:

We have a client who is looking to move a couple of double electrical sockets from behind a wall mounted TV to down below at skirting board level. Thereโ€™s also a data cable to relocate as well. Existing conduit runs from floor up so easy enough to access. Wall to be tracked and will then be painted.

Last week we did two very nice full UniFi solutions.

The first was a residential UniFi WiFi and UniFi Protect solution consisting of 3 properly networked WiFi access points, 3 x G6 4K cameras and a G6 Entry 4K video doorbell. For this we used the UniFi Cloud Gateway Max as our cloud controller for the full UniFi deployment.

The second was for a sports club consisting of a club hall, a pavilion, external pitches and a gym. To begin with, Netii provided a full fibre broadband connection to the site and will act as their ongoing broadband provider.

Again, it was a full UniFi WiFi and UniFi Protect solution consisting of 6 properly networked WiFi access points and 6 UniFi cameras. We also installed and set up a Ubiquiti point to point link between the club hall and the pavilion across the road which worked perfectly and achieved 100% of the available throughput from point A to B โšก๏ธ

For this one we used a UniFi Dream Machine SE to act as our cloud controller for the whole system which allows our client access and allows ourselves to offer full management and support ๐Ÿ’ฏ

A full UniFi cellular broadband connection installed and set up today along with a cloud hosted WiFi and network solution at a building site in Belfast.

Our client, a construction company, needed broadband installed as quickly and efficiently as possible to supply a couple of units on the building site used by the site manager and the contracts manager. As we couldnโ€™t supply fibre broadband to the site, we went with a sim based mobile deployment which already has blown them away with the speed and performance provided, which is consistently in and around the 300Mbps mark.

Weโ€™ll take that all day long ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

For this project, we provided a full fibre broadband connection and VoIP Telephony solution for both the main house and annexe, with a full UniFi WiFi solution to cover the farmyard as well.

The customer needed to keep both of their existing phone numbers in the properties, and ensure an existing panic alarm system was added to the new network, which we were more than happy to do for them.

The day after installation, they reported a temperamental connection in the master bedroom at the back of the main house, so we returned to install an additional properly networked UniFi WiFi access point, and everyone was happy ๐Ÿ˜Š
