52.4 miles. One week. No excuses. 🏃‍♂️

Meet the team behind MANTIS: Jon Arnold
Most people train for one marathon, Jon decided to run two. The TCS London Marathon and Belfast City Marathon, just seven days apart.

Jon says:
"It sounded like a great idea at the time… now the training runs are getting longer, I’m starting to question my life choices!"

So why is Jon putting himself through this?
Because some challenges are bigger than comfort. After completing a charity skydive last year, Jon is pushing even further, combining personal challenge with real impact.

This time, he’s raising funds for Friends of St Francis 💚, a school charity close to home.
"Seeing the impact on the children and the school makes every mile worth it."

Balancing training with work and family life, hasn’t been easy, but the support has been huge. Between early mornings, long runs, and chasing after two young boys, Jon is pushing both physically and mentally, especially through the winter months.
From friends and family to colleagues and local businesses, including a £1000 donation from Walter Watson Ltd, the momentum behind the challenge keeps building.

Now it comes down to this:
Run 26.2 miles. 🏃‍♂️
Recover.
Do it all again. 💪

Meet the team behind MANTIS: Hannah

Strength, discipline and consistency.

Three qualities that power strong fleets, plus strong people!

Outside of her role at MANTIS, Hannah has spent the last nine years competing in powerlifting, representing Northern Ireland internationally and building an impressive list of achievements along the way.

It all started in an unexpected way. After joining the gym after university, Hannah admits she actually signed up to her first competition while slightly tipsy, but once the commitment was made, she never looked back.

Since then she has:
🏅 Competed for over 9 years
🌍 Represented Northern Ireland at the Commonwealth Games in South Africa
💪 Holds the largest raw female bench press in Northern Ireland

But for Hannah, the biggest surprise wasn’t the competition, it was the community.
"Whilst powerlifting is an individual sport, the thing I enjoy most is the community. Everyone is incredibly supportive, the Northern Ireland team has even won the loudest supporters award at international competitions!."

Alongside her role at MANTIS, Hannah trains four times a week, fitting sessions in during evenings and weekends. She also volunteers as Communications Manager for the Northern Irish Powerlifting Federation, helping promote the sport, support members and organise competitions.

Next weekend she’ll be involved in the NIPF Spring Classic in Coleraine, one of the final qualifying competitions for the 2026 Commonwealth team.
