Today we’re launching Actonomy, built on a decade of Kainos’ enterprise AI experience to help organisations deploy AI quickly, safely and repeatedly at scale.

AI is changing how individuals work, but the bigger opportunity lies across departments and organisations: improving decisions, transforming services and delivering commercial outcomes. Yet an estimated 95% of AI pilots never reach production.

Actonomy specialises in production AI. We’ve packaged the lessons, proven orchestration approaches and technical IP from hundreds of scaled enterprise deployments, spanning machine learning, generative AI and agentic AI, into a platform that makes deployment quicker and more repeatable.
Built on Microsoft and Anthropic, with flexible deployment across cloud and local NVIDIA infrastructure, the platform includes proprietary small language models for domain-specific tasks and evaluations of accuracy and reliability. It has reduced the time to deploy AI into production by up to 75%, helping organisations realise value faster at a lower long-term cost.

Our lean Forward Deployed Engineering teams work directly with customers to embed the platform into critical business processes, accelerating time to value while reducing delivery risk.

Following its July soft launch, Actonomy has four signed enterprise customers. Early deployments include a UK specialist lender targeting fewer non-performing loans across a multi-million-account portfolio, and a leading UK water utility unlocking AI-driven efficiencies within £40 million of operational spend.

Led by CEO Ruth McGuinness, Actonomy brings together our platform and deep AI engineering expertise to help organisations capture greater value from AI.

The launch builds on our continued investment in AI, including joining Cosine’s coalition to help shape the UK’s first large language model under the UK Government’s £500 million Sovereign AI programme.

CodeCamp 2026 is officially complete 🚀

Throughout the week, students in Belfast and Gdansk gained practical expence in Al tools and software development, worked on team projects and learned firsthand what a career in technology can look like. Guided by Kainos Mentors, they developed valuable technical and professional skills while building connections with like-minded peers.
