You know your website needs more visibility.
You know your dream clients are out there, just a search and a click away.
But you’re a busy business owner… and you’ve got approximately ONE HOUR to spare. 😅
Don’t worry, I gotcha.
I’m a busy mum of 3, juggling client work, babies, school runs, activities, and approximately 847 other things…which means optimising my own website often gets pushed right to the bottom of the list.
But this week, I had an hour.
So rather than overcomplicate it, I focused on the 5 things that could actually make a difference to my SEO.
No 17-hour SEO audit.
No disappearing down a technical SEO rabbit hole.
No trying to rank for 47 keywords at once.
Just one hour. Five focused tasks. 👇
1. I focused on my one page and one keyword. This week was my homepage.
I checked my H1, H2, the first 100 words on my page clearly stated what I do, where I do it & who I do it for.
2. I checked all images on that page were compressed and had a descriptive filename and alt text. Describing what’s in the image is the key here.
3. Cached my website to make sure it was loading properly.
4. Logged on to my Google business to see if they verified my address 🫠 they haven’t so off absent to walk up and down my street again.
5. Made a small list of helpful blogs I am going to wrote this month. Posts that are helpful to users but also mention what I do and how I help.
Honestly, SEO doesn’t have to be some big overwhelming task. It’s the most effective when you make small consistent updates to your site so your clients can actually find you.
I’m making this weekly thing so follow along for next weeks tasks x
