πŸ’™ Have you listened to Different But Heard yet?

As we mark Learning Disability Week, we're encouraging everyone to tune in and hear directly from people with lived experience. The podcast offers an honest and inspiring insight into the challenges participants have faced, the achievements they've celebrated and the opportunities that have helped them grow in confidence and independence.

Too often, people talk about individuals with learning disabilities rather than listening to them. Different But Heard is about changing that – creating a platform where participants can share their own stories, perspectives and aspirations.

🎧 Take some time to listen and discover why these voices matter.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make Orchardville Awards Day 2026 such a memorable celebration!

We're busy behind the scenes sorting through hundreds of fantastic photos and videos from the day, and we can't wait to share them with you.

To get things started, enjoy this special performance from our incredible Orchardville band, Johnny & The Seeds, performing the Beatles classic 'Here Comes the Sun'. We were also delighted to welcome special guest Kyle Stewart, who joined the band on lead guitar and helped make the performance one to remember.

Thank you, Kyle, for being part of such a special day.

More photos, videos and highlights from Orchardville Awards Day 2026 will be coming soon – watch this space!

⭐ What a surprise for our Thursday SLAP group on their first visit to Blair Mayne Leisure Centre!

While enjoying the facilities, they had a chance encounter with Olympic gymnastics champion Rhys McClenaghan. A memorable moment and the perfect way to kick off their first visit! πŸ€Έβ€β™‚οΈπŸ‘
