Ge-Mac has turned a little greener this week with the addition of solar panels on the factory roof, thus reducing our footprint by 4,600Kg of carbon dioxide every year.
For the technically minded there are 60x420W panels that will give 25kW at peak feeding back to a 3-phase inverter to the factory and exporting any excess to the grid. The total annual production should be 21,500kWh of free energy making the expected return on investment in less than 2 years.
