We’re proud to have donated laptops to Everyone’s Gang to help support the incredible work they do with young people who may be at risk of exploitation, gang involvement, knife crime, and criminal activity.

The devices will help provide access to:
• Job searching
• CV writing and applications
• Online courses and training
• Education and employability support

With the academic year coming to an end, this support is particularly important for Year 11 students preparing for college, apprenticeships, part-time work, and other post-16 pathways.

We’re pleased to play a small part in helping young people access the tools and opportunities they need to build positive futures.

A huge thank you to PublicTec for the generous donation of 9 laptops and 1 Microsoft Surface. The use of these laptops will open up even more doors at Everyone’s Gang and add another layer to the support we provide for young people. We truly appreciate your support and generosity💻✨

🚀 Launching Bedford’s First Dedicated Digital Support Service for Charities

We’re proud to launch PublicTec’s Digital Support Services for Charities. It is a new initiative designed to help Bedford’s local charities access the technology and digital support they need to thrive.

This service is aimed particularly at smaller charities and community groups who may not have:
• In-house IT expertise
• The funding for new digital infrastructure
• Access to reliable devices

Through this initiative, charities can apply for free laptops and tablets, alongside practical IT advice and guidance, to support their day-to-day operations and long-term impact.

Scan the QR code on the poster and complete the short form. Requests are reviewed based on need, and equipment is allocated free of charge where available.

We are so proud we had the opportunity to support the launching of Thomas Taylor Community Hub ❤️

On Friday I attended the opening of the Thomas Taylor Community Hub, named in memory of the young man who tragically lost his life earlier this year in Bedford. The hub is based at the old Kingsbrook Children's Centre on the Kings Oak Primary School site, where Thomas was a pupil.

The hub is a space where children and young people can come together in a safe and supportive place. Assistant headteacher Sarah, has rightly spoken about the wrong circles that our young people can fall into when they feel they have no community or support. This hub is an important step towards intervention.

The Thomas Taylor Community Hub will be operating into the evening with youth groups and counselling available, as well as group sessions for under 5s, support for families, and safe spaces for women. I wish the hub every success in this crucial work.

As part of our commitment to giving back, we donated 3 laptops, along with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and mugs to help the hub get started and create a warm, welcoming environment for everyone who visits.

It was fantastic to meet the partners and founders behind this incredible initiative and hear about their plans to make a real difference locally.
