Adam and Matt were over at Bath College today, meeting students at enrolment and hearing about their media and software development courses.

Being just up the road makes us a great first stop for work experience, and Bath College students have been coming to us for years. Some of the best hires we have made started with someone turning up for a week to see what an agency actually does all day.

Talking to people on day one of a career is a decent reminder that most of this industry is learned by having a go, asking questions, and just getting involved.

What a night at the Sparkies 2026! 🎉

Great to get the Rocketmakers team together at last night for an evening celebrating the best of the South West tech scene. It's always a brilliant mix of catching up with familiar faces and meeting new people doing incredible things.

A huge thank you to TechSPARK and all the sponsors for putting on such a fantastic event. Nights like these are a reminder of just how strong and supportive the tech community is down here.

What a cracking day at Bath Boules yesterday! ☀️🎉

Queen Square was buzzing, sunshine, boules flying everywhere, and a proper mix of Bath's business crowd all out enjoying it. Always brilliant to see a local event pull together so many people, all in aid of some fantastic charities.

Being sponsors is great, but knowing our app was ticking along behind the scenes made the day even sweeter. Huge thanks to the organisers, fellow sponsors, and everyone who popped by for a chat!

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of taking part in Leadership Dialogues at The Forum in Bath.

We had a great turnout for our breakout session on AI for SMEs, and the conversations that followed were fantastic. It was refreshing to hear the range of ways businesses are already putting AI to work, and the genuine value and new opportunities it's opening up for them. We also joined a panel discussion alongside some brilliant speakers.

We're heading to Leadership Dialogues at The Forum in Bath next Wednesday (1st July) and running a session on AI and small business.

Our team will be hosting a breakout workshop: "It's the end of the world as we know it... but I feel fine. Seeing the positive impact of AI on small businesses."

It's a real, practical conversation about what AI means for smaller organisations. If you've got questions, challenges, or just want to hear how others are approaching it, come along and join us.

The Innovation Showcase at day 2 of Bath Digital Festival has just closed its doors, and our AI safe keeper has been stood down. 🤖

His mission: stop attendees from getting into our physical Rocketmakers safe at all costs. Only a handful of people managed to talk their way past him and crack open the door.
The safe keeper was one of several next-generation Portrait AI characters we brought along this year, alongside Beam, our 3D content management and analytics system for museums and galleries.

We've been showing our R&D work at BDF for years now, and it never ceases to amaze me what brilliant connections we make by being there.

A huge welcome to Mikolaj, who's joining us at Rocketmakers HQ in Bath for two weeks of work experience. 🚀

Over the fortnight, Mikolaj will be getting stuck into life at a software agency, from hands-on coding and cloud infrastructure to operations, support, and planning. He'll be working alongside our team of developers, designers, and project managers, gaining real-world skills across a range of technologies.

At Rocketmakers, we've always believed in nurturing the next generation of tech talent. Whether it's our long-standing links with Bath's schools and universities or welcoming work experience students through our doors, helping people reach their full potential is part of our DNA.
