Next updates are only days away! I will update the three delays/echos .
As many of you may know. I’ve improved the quality by a couple percent again. It’s taken well over a year so far to update everything. We
Are nearly there! A place you can really hear those differences are in feedback loops. So delays it is next.

Blue 1102 eq updated to the latest sonic timp standards. V2.5 now available

This eq is inspired by the module originally found in the 8*68 console. It has the characteristics of a 1*73 with added frequencies in the High band and a added High-Q mid range. The character is broad, making it a great general mixing eq. Classic curves and huge tone, the sound of

I bet you didn’t see this one coming!

The Classic D CAT 22 Trick REC Mode – Dynamic Enhancement In REC mode, Using the Bands 3 and 4 Program delivers dynamic processing above approximately 3 kHz and 9 kHz, respectively. This produces a silky top end, enhanced vocal presence, greater clarity and that unmistakable analogue air, without ...

To the untrained, this image doesn’t say much.
But to certain knowledgeable engineers they will understand that the shapes produced here are isolated attack and release.

To this day there isn’t another library or aqua that can perform this to this tight tolerance. It was a tech I developed out of years of problem solving. No matter how big the attack is, the release is completely Independent of it. Notice the release maintains the Sharpe edges despite the attack being 100ms. This I developed in opto1b. Now it will be applied to another legendary vca.

Sometimes it’s the things that are perceived as simple are the things that take the longest to achieve.
I work longer and harder to get things right. There is always an easy way that gives okay results, then there is the hard way that gets you that few more percentage points closer. The work to achieve that little extra is always going to be out of passion.

It’s important to note that not all
Compressors perform this way. But to nail certain types of topology this is a game changer in this tech.

Then there is attack shapes…. But I’ll save that for another day.

C1061 eq is based on a clean Eq from one of the best British console makers. This eq was a discrete model. Excels in clean cuts and The high shelf is particularly good for a broad clean boost, It does not smear like some colour eq’s, or otherwise described as fast sounding. Mid range
