The nine rim trigger zones on a V3 are fully configurable and in this clip they’re set to the notes of a C major scale while Michael triggers Alchemy in Logic Pro. Output configurations for all V3 zones and controllers can be set, saved, and loaded using the V3 Utility program.

Here’s Part 3 of Danny Carey’s trial run of Mandala V3 production models when they were first integrated with his setup in June 2025, taking the place of his previous prototype V3 Mandalas which had been in use since 2017. Prior to that his purple metal Mandalas were going strong since the technology was developed in the early 2000’s.
